Bruce Mabry 227 Lansing Ave. Lynchburg, VA 24503
Ph: 434-845-0666
Born in Daytona Beach Florida in 1953 and raised in Lynchburg, Virginia, Bruce Mabry began painting at an early age. His Parents inspired him, particularly his father who was also an artist. Essentially a realist, most of his works are autobiographies and landscapes, relating to people and places of interest. However, some of his paintings are also historical, depicting scenes that history may have overlooked.
He is a 1995 graduate of Lynchburg College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design and Communication. He has exhibited works in schools, libraries and art shows throughout Virginia. Private collectors, clubs, and businesses throughout the United States and abroad have purchased his artwork. His goal is to have others see, understand, and enjoy his work; however, he also wants to inspire in people the emotions that he felt while painting. He plans to continue to grow as an artist, and to allow God to be the source of his inspiration and the center of his joy.
